Run Maynard, Run!

7.05 miles / 1:03:27 / 9:00 A.P. / Provo River Trail

Usually on January 1, my brothers and I will run down American Fork Canyon at 12:15 a.m. to ring in the new year.  I opted out this year cause I've been fighting a cold for better than a week.  Don't know why I figured it would be OK to go out and essentially do the same thing later in the day--even if it was 10 degrees warmer (-3° vs. 7°).

I need a shower and a baby girl (12-years-old actually) that will allow me more than 30 minutes to get a run in...

She did say I could go for a run in the morning if I wanted--she doesn't have school and I don't have work.  Still, I'm thinking she'll come up with something else to occupy my time.

30 laps.  I'm assuming the 442 meter measurement is the inside lap?  Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

Was a wee bit over dressed, but that's OK--I got in my 8.

4.0 miles / 0:35:00.98 / 8:46 A.P. / Treadmill

Intended on going 8 miles, settled for 4.  I'll do better.

5.76 miles / 0:50:01 / 8:41 A.P. / Treadmill at home.

Clearing out space for and dragging an extension cord to the treadmill was quite the workout in itself.  Glad I did it though.  Can't use "no treadmill at home" as an excuse any more.

I think my treadmill needs a tuneup.  I definitely need a tuneup.

Can I just state for the record that I am SOOOOOOOOO glad I'm not a teenager.  I don't think I'd make it.
