Gonna try and get six more in later.

Went north from the house up to Highland and then east to the mouth of American Fork Canyon.  Hopped on the trail that meanders through the golf course and then behind Lone Peak High and what used to be called the Adventure and Learning Park.  From there, mostly a straight shot back home.  I was feeling fatigued that last mile, and that has me a bit concerned for Ogden in two weeks.  Fun run.  I've run most of this course before but never all together.

It's been 30 years since my Boy Scout days but I remember a week-long camp we had down in the Adventure and Learning Park--and most of that has now been developed into homes.  :(

Knees were stiff and tight for the first half mile but they loosened up and the rest of the run rocked!

Sounds like a "run down memory lane". That adventure park is so fun. Glad you had some good runs this week. Is the ankle/lower calf behaving now?

Sounds like a nostalgic run. It's always fun to run down memory lane.

Smooth: today the calf is behaving itself. I think it'll be ok.

Marc: it's weird to imagine that in the spot where we camped, way back when, we spent the entire week and it felt like we were in a remote wilderness--and now there's probably a house there now...

Nice run Brad! So what is your goal time for Ogden?

From Maynard on Wed, May 05, 2010 at 21:20:51 from 71.213.8.170

3:20. What do I realistically expect? Maybe 3:50. If I could drop a 3:45 up there, I'd be grinning from ear to ear for a week!
