3.1 miles in 31 minutes on the treadmill.  Repositioned the treadmill, set up the old TV and DVD player, pushed play on 50 First Dates, and managed 3 miles before I ran out of gas.  Blah!  So much for my 90 minute run.

That's too funny!!! I think you exerted too much energy positioning the tm and setting up the entertainment. :D One question, did you end up finishing 50 First Dates? That movie is hillarious.

I hate to run on the treadmill it is so much harder than outside, even with a good move on.

Yes, that may be a good movie ... but it doesn't even touch Remember the Titans!!!

I don't mind the treadmill if there is something good to watch and I can find the right pace.

Are you running Painters?

Smooth: I think you're right. I won't make that mistake again. And yet you seemingly went and did hours and hours of housework and then ran 18 miles... I can't move a TV? No, I never did finish the movie.

Kathie: I try so hard when I'm on the treadmill to envision myself out on one of my outside runs and pretend I'm there. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Last night it didn't.

Teena: Somehow I think, with you, nothing will ever out do Remember the Titans (or anything with Denzel in it). I really don't mind the treadmill so much either, but I'll let just about anything derail my good intentions on it. I will be at Painters, barring some unforeseen catastrophe (knock on wood).
