I have been reading Born To Run and I had big plans for tonight's run.  I was going to run and enjoy myself, despite the fact that it would be on the treadmill.  I was going to connect with the true runner within me.  I was going to get lost in the miles.  I was seriously going to kick some treadmill butt!  1.59 miles in I ran out of gas. I suck.

C-R-A-P!

I'm trying to talk myself into giving it another go in about an hour, but it'll be 10:30 by then.  Maybe tomorrow morning before work, but that will make a run at work difficult.  I don't know what to do.  Somebody make the decision for me--I can't do it on my own tonight.

I vote for calling it the day, go to bed now and see how you feel in the morning.

The true runner within you is meant to run freely outside!

Do you always try to run at work? I'd say if you do run before work, then run the 2nd run as recovery depending on how hard your 1st run is. Just my 2 cents.

So what did you do? Sorry, but I am in bed by 9:30 so no advice from me after that!
