5.2 miles along the lower Provo River Trail at lunch, averaged a 8:31 pace.  Some tightness with the sciatic and behind the left knee but nothing really terrible.  The cold is starting to affect my knees some.

I hear ya on the cold. Hopefully the knees and all the running parts will get acclimatized soon. NICE lunch run!

I hate the cold for the first few weeks and then I really love it much more that the heat of summer!

Hope your tigntness starts to lessen some for you. Makes for a tough run. I have been thinking about what we talked about. That buffalo run in Mar. Were you think of doing the 50k or 50 miles then??

Smooth & Kathie: Love running in the winter--especially in the snow. The cold and knees are just part of the price you pay I guess. When it gets so cold that I don the tights, it's not so bad.

Huans: I'm planning on the 50k. 50 miles is just too much. :

Brad,

Wish I could love the cold -- HATE IT!!!

Nice job -- sorry about the bothersome sciatica and knee.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Oh, Teena... You've apparently never run along the upper portion of the Provo River Trail with an inch or two on the ground and the stuff still coming down. Absolute HEAVEN! Seriously!

I've never been invited!!! :)
