Wore the compression calf sleeves I got--not sure the run was long enough to get much of an opinion of them, and a flat road run really isn't the purpose for which I got 'em anyways.

My splits were as follows: 8:16, 8:19, 8:28, 8:35, 8:30, 9:10, 8:37 (and :04 for the .01).  The last 1.5 was slightly uphill (huge emphasis on the slightly) and into the wind.

Hey Bradley!

Nice job today. Tell me more about the calf sleeves.

I guess the biggest benefit of them, and the reason they are used in the medical field, would be increased blood circulation. I decided to try them to see if they'd reduce muscle fatigue and to stabilize the calf muscles, particularly on my long trail runs. I've read a bit from people who tout them more for their recovery benefits. Fingers crossed.

I got a pair of Zoot Active CompressRx sleeves.

Very cool! I'm interested to see how they work for you.

Cool. I was thinking about getting a pair of those too. Instead of the compression socks. I like the socks but the foot part. I have to wear another pair of socks just to stop all the slipping around.
