At 3.4 miles, something in my right calf when, "doink!" and I ended up limping the last .2 back home.  :(  I really really really hope it's nothing!

Doink. Doesn't sound good at all. I sure hope it is nothing for sure.

I really hope it is nothing too! Doink, is usually not a good sign though!

I was a bit worried last night. I could walk on it gingerly, but it just felt funny. Today I can walk fine with some "residual" soreness. I'm sure it's nothing as serious as an Achilles tear, but it may be a plantaris muscle/tendon issue. I read somewhere that about 7% of people don't even have a plantaris--that it is a vestigial remnant of a primitive flexor muscle of the toes. How weird is that?

Indeed, that is VERY weird!

Doink? What's a Doink?

So hows the Doink doing today?

Were in the 7th week before SGM, not a good time to be hearing Doink?

My advise for a Doink: Absorbine Jr., a massage with "The Stick", and "RICE". Just get it better so you'll be in top shape for SGM, not to mention TOU!!!!

Is *doink* a clinical term?

How are you feeling today???

From Smooth on Wed, Aug 11, 2010 at 16:06:03 from 174.23.203.161

Looks like you googled doink and got plantaris. :) I dunno! But I'm sure we don't need any vestigial remnant of a primitive flexor muscle. :)

The human body is so intricate, so complicated, so beautifully weird!

How's the calf/achilles feeling today?
